Onetaco is the Austin success story: the food truck that became an order window, an order window that became a brick and mortar, the brick and mortar that became a chainlet. The menu is a little confusing-there are two kinds of tacos you can order: the street tacos which are cheaper and simpler and the 'Los Tacos' which are roughly twice as expensive but have stuff and breakfast tacos all day. So, it's not so much one taco but like three. I've tried all three kinds as well as their taco of the day and overall I'd say they're all pretty good. I appreciate that it's made to order so you need a little patience. I've also had the chips and queso and chips and guacamole and their chips are tasty-made pretty fresh, warm and crip. The queso and guac are also good side options as well.

This is a great place to stop for tacos and anything you could want to go with it. I've ordered tacos from both north Austin locations on the go and I've always been happy with the experience and what I've ordered. 5 stars for being deliciously dependable!

Not a band place to grab a taco. Food is flavorful and the tortillas are made fresh. Service is a little slow but that's because they cook to order. Try the different salsas as each has a unique flavor profile.

Onetaco is the perfect spot to find authentic Mexican street tacos. We ended our trip here and ordered the carne asada, pollo asado, and cauliflower tacos. The serve was fantastic -- from the cashiers taking our orders to cooks preparing our food. The ambiance was cozy and vibrant with a taqueria marquee. The tacos were worth every penny and then some. The pricing is very reasonable and it was easy to find parking right outside. I understand why people consider Austin a foodie city. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience!

The staff is quick, the food is delicious, and all for a great value! I'm glad they have at least 2 vegetarian tacos. My boyfriend loves their street tacos, and their guacamole is incredible. I can't wait to go back for more!

Must try: Breakfast Tacos! Why: Loved all their breakfast tacos! Each were around $4 and they were fairly large packed with meat. My favorites were Taco Jefe and Barbacoa! Jefe had steak, fried eggs, beans, and pick de gallo. Barbacoa had beef, onions, and cilantro. Meats were juicy and tender. Washed it all down with Me Latte, which was Cold Brew Coffee and Horchata - a great combo! Note: Workers were friendly and helpful. Service was super quick as you can see them cooking right in front of you. Clean location with bar seating/standing and some tables in back. Great experience overall and a great way to start my morning before work!

This is our go-to taqueria in NW Austin. They make the taco al pastor as they should: on a trompo (like a gyro) , that's why they are often called oriental tacos in Mexico . The food is authentic and delicious. I usually get al pastor street taco on a small tortilla, and one steak with pico and fried cheese. The meat is clean and of high quality, you can tell. There are three salsas to choose from and plenty of Mexican sodas and a few beers. The food comes out quick, and everyone in the restaurant is focused on great service.
